program
The Tom C Barber program covers all aspects of barbering, including hair styling, chemical hair services, and beard shaving and trimming techniques. Graduates are eligible to take their licensure exam and obtain a Barbering license and pursue employment in the field.
admissions
The general criteria for admission are (1) student must pay all applicable fees, (2) must present a photographic driver’s license or Calif. I.D. and social security card, (3) No Ability to Benefit Students, and (4) student must have graduated from high school, or earned a GED or equivalent.
Services
Tom C Barber College has policies regarding student services in respect to placement, housing, and records and transcripts. The institution also assists students in preparing them for the State California Department of Consumer Affairs Licensure Examinations
